Public beta

V5 ships on the beta npm channel: npm install -g @homebridge-plugins/homebridge-eufy-security@beta. It requires Homebridge 2 and Node.js 24.5.0. The 4.x release stays on latest for anyone who is not ready to move.

These guides replace the former GitHub wiki. Current V5 behavior is documented separately from legacy V4 guidance so old settings and workarounds are not mistaken for the new plugin contract.
